2020 elections (T4W2)

General statement: Today I will be talking about what happened last week Saturday, and who won the General Elections for 2020 in New Zealand.  I will also show the amount of votes, percent, electorate of seats, list of seats and the total number of seats Labour Party has.

On Saturday 17 of October 2020, an accumulation of people voted for the Labour Party.  National party came second with 26.8% of votes, in third place was the Green Party with 7.6% of votes and last but not least the Act Party came last and got 8% of votes.

Description: The Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern, will continue to be the Prime Minister of New Zealand for three more years until the next voting Elections in 2024.  There were five Parties that made it into the Parliamentary, that people were voting for.

Labour Party has,

  •  1, 169,397 Party Votes

  • 49.1 Percent of Votes

  • 43 Electorate of Seats

  • 21 List Seats

  • The total of Seats Labour party had all together was 64

Evaluation: Last of all I just wanted to say that Jacinda Ardern is a satisfactory woman because she is honest and she is a very popular Prime Minister of New Zealand .  Jacinda Ardern should continue to be the Prime Minister of New Zealand until the next Election comes up in 2024.  I hope you guys enjoy my persuasive writing about the 2020 Elections, thank you.
